If you aren’t securing your two-party Internet communications with PGP, then what the hell are you doing?
If you aren’t securing the files you want kept private with TrueCrypt, then what the hell are you doing?
If you aren’t storing them in a secure area when you travel, then what the hell are you doing?
Remember, the Feds have claimed the authority to search your computers without a warrant when you cross the international borders. That alone is reason enough to use strong encryption to secure your digital possessions, but if you think that power will be limited to just international travel, you are remarkably short-sighted.
Power, once claimed, isn’t given up without a fight, nor resisted without the same.
